After Tavo and Tavo To Go, both based in the huge building close to Frankfurt airport, and the elegant Lucullus Nero restaurant, Calogero Gallo has decided to double Lucullus operation, bringing this format into the new airport terminal. This successful operation has been possible thanks to the interest shown by SSP Deutschland Group for the format created by Gallo, who once again entrusted Costa Group for the design of the new project, because «you must never change a winning team» underlines Gallo «and Costa Group is always kept up with the times.

A prolific synergy, with a clear roles partition: to Calogero goes the choice of products, the service and the overall quality, to Costa Group goes the merit of giving the right imagine and functionality to this quality. A tailored work, created for the resourceful Italian businessman, who has always been bringing high-quality food in first line, showing expertise, creativity and good taste.

Lucullus Nero format suits the place, calling the attention of an international public, with different tastes and habits. The format has combined the restaurant with a fast food area, with a counter for cafè and sandwiches. The dominant colour is black, with the characteristic rectangular tiles as leit-motiv of the furnishing. The only concession to the total black is the use of simple materials, such as marble, iron and oak, that "break" the black, and add to the indisputable elegance of the place, a casual touch, that suits well to the airport environment. With the addition of copper lamps, that complete the elegance of the space.

300 sqm, 120 seats, a convivial table with a hundred-year-old olive tree, and the windows overlooking the runway, to carry away with the flight a pleasant memory, that goes beyond the good food.
